Our house logs are precision-manufactured on a lathe to produce consistent, symmetrical logs from end to end. Lathed house logs provide a uniform appearance. Log replacement, and architectural applications where accuracy and finish matter.

For custom projects, we can leave a controlled amount of natural taper when requested, allowing flexibility for traditional log home aesthetics or restoration work.

Wood Species Options

We commonly use Ponderosa Pine, chosen for its strength, stability, and timeless log appearance. Ponderosa Pine is well-suited for both new construction accent logs, entry areas, overhead ranch gate for the end of driveways and log replacement projects.

Fir: is and option, available when supply allows, providing additional options for appearance, regional matching, or specific needs.

Finishing & Custom Machining Options

Our house logs are available untreated or treated, and we offer a variety of machining services to meet project-specific requirements:

Half-round ripping
Saddle notching
Rip and Dadoeing for precise fit to wrap door jambs, steel or wood studs in buildings
